Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! In many ways, they are exactly that. You can learn more about Spirit Dolls here.

  • From start to finish, about two hours. I start by constructing the base body out of floral wire, yarn, and a wooden bead head. From there, I intuitively choose a color palette that ignites the rest of the design.

  • Each one of my dolls is carefully handcrafted from start to finish — no molds, no shortcuts, no 3D printing. Every bend of wire, wrap of yarn, and tiny detail is shaped by hand, which means each doll is truly one-of-a-kind.

    My pricing reflects:

    • Time & Skill: Each piece takes several hours of detailed work, including years of practice that have gone into perfecting my technique.

    • Quality Materials: I use durable, high-quality wire, fabrics, and finishes that ensure your doll will last. Many of the products I use to craft my dolls are purchased from other small businesses, such as recycled sari silk, 100% wool felt, handspun fibers, etc. Other items are foraged by me, which means they are hand-selected from nature based on their energy and intended purpose for my art.

    • Artistry & Intention: These aren’t mass-produced items — they’re handcrafted works of art, each with its own personality and story, rooted in creativity, intention, and a deep connection to nature and spirit. With each doll I create, I endeavor to bring a touch of magic and positivity to someone's life.

I understand that handmade art can sometimes cost more than people expect or want to spend — but please know that my prices aren’t random. They reflect the time, heart, and craftsmanship that go into every doll. When someone dismisses that work with a comment like “Wow, these are pricey,” it can be discouraging. Every artist deserves respect for the effort, materials, and love they put into what they make.

When you buy one of my dolls, you’re not just purchasing an object — you’re supporting an artist, a creative process, and a heartfelt one-of-a-kind doll made with love and good intention.
